For the past 25 years, "Gladiolus Place," a residential refuge for girls facing family issues, has provided a safe haven. This year, the shelter underwent renovations, transforming the original dormitory-style accommodations for eight to ten people into rooms for no more than three residents, offering the young girls a more comfortable "home."
